When you walk through the front door on your first visit to CrossRoads, we want you to know you are our guest. We want to serve you just like you serve your guests when they come to your house for dinner.
The first people you will meet will be part of our welcome team. Someone from that team will take a couple minutes to give you some reading material about our church and briefly show you around. They will also point you to bagels and coffee if you would like some refreshments. If you have children fifth grade or younger, they will ask you to complete a short information card that you will leave with your child’s teacher to help us keep your child safe. (Children are welcome to attend “big church” with their parents, but we have great teachers for birth through fifth grade who would love to teach your children while you are in church.)
After a quick orientation from our welcome team and checking your children in with their teacher, you are welcome to pick a comfortable seat in our worship center. I promise we won’t do anything to embarrass you (like make you stand up or raise your hand in front of everyone). We will ask you to complete a card attached to your program. (All our regulars will fill out that card, too.) We don’t sell anyone’s information or anything like that. We just like to be able to get in touch and tell you how much we appreciate your visit.
Please let us know if you have any other questions about CrossRoads. We can’t wait to see you and your family Sunday!
