We have found that many people who become part of the CrossRoads Church family
are looking for a place they can serve God making a difference in the lives of others.
We want to help you find a meaningful place you fit in. Because God has given each one
of us gifts, talents and a specific heart's desire, we find our place in terms of our
skills and passions.
The first question we have each person ask is: "What am I good at?" We know that success
breeds excitement and energy to serve, so we will help you find a place of service that
allows you to shine. Next we let everyone answer the question: "What do I love doing?"
God has wired each one of us with a unique passion for serving Him. Some people like to
teach, some like to sing, some like to work with children or teenagers. Some people love
to crunch numbers or think strategically. Some people receive their greatest sense of
pride from knowing they have accomplished something by the sweat of their brow.
Because a local church is a family, we all find our place in terms of relationships.
Once someone decides what they are good at and love doing, we help them find a specific
place of service that serves a meaningful purpose in the CrossRoads Church family.
Sometimes this means joining a current ministry team that provides meaningful
relationships in the midst of significant ministry. Sometimes it means pioneering
a new ministry to make a difference in a new way.
The main restriction to serving at CrossRoads is related to keeping our children and
teenagers safe. In order to serve on our children or youth team, workers must be members
of CrossRoads Church for six months or have regularly attended CrossRoads for at least
a year.
